Description
With the Aqua Rebell Injector you can effortlessly place fertilising capsules in the substrate. The injector has been optimised for standard fertilising capsules offered by different manufacturers. The capsules can be inserted into the substrate deeply and in a very well-aimed way. If you try to place the capsules in the substrate with a pair of tweezers more often than not they start floating - something than can be prevented by using the Aqua Rebell Injector.
Hint: This injector cannot be used with ADA products. Its opening is too large and can thus not hold the fertilising capsules of that brand.

Aqua Rebell
Aqua Rebell is our own aquatic plant fertiliser label. A great number of planted tank enthusiasts in general and aquascapers in particular use our products to supply their aquarium plants with nutrients.

With the tweezers, when root fertilizing, the capsules can shift upward when you push them in. With this you're guaranteed to get the capsules all the way down to the substrate layer where they're supposed to work, under the roots.

works, does great as far as fertilizing goes, but with deep tanks you get wet fingers
I use Borneo Wild A capsules
I'll just say, it's worth buying
You can see it makes the work much easier, is useful and doesn't rust.
Unfortunately the Borneo Wild tablets can't always be used well because they have different shapes and didn't fit in so well.
The principle of the Aqua Rebel Injector is very good, but it's not suitable for sandy substrate.
When the fertilizer capsule is in the injector and you push the injector into the sand toward the roots, the mechanism jams because of the sand getting in.
Otherwise recommended
Seems fairly well made, but is lighter than expected, since it's partly made of plastic (?). Works flawlessly with fertilizer capsules (from TROPICA). It does catch slightly when operating the slider, though. Still an irreplaceable helper for placing fertilizer capsules, even in difficult spots… (read more)
