Description
In a strongly lit well-planted tank or in aquariums with few fish a lack of macronutrients may occur, which in turn can lead to poor plant growth. Makro Basic Phosphat adds the important macronutrient phosphate to the tank. The plants can once again access plentiful resources, resulting in lush growth as an expression of gratitude.
Weekly water changes of 25 - 50 % are recommendable. The dosage can be raised or lowered depending on the requirements. If the aquarium water shows high readings of phosphate from the start, this fertilizer is not suitable, though. It has been designed to prevent the accumulation of large concentrations of macronutrients. If high levels of phosphate occur, the dosage should be reduced.
The basic supply of macronutrients in a tank is provided either by our NPK fertilizer, our Estimative Index fertilizer or by our single-nutrient fertilizers (Makro Basic Nitrat, Phosphat and Kalium). Our aquatic plant fertilizer Aqua Rebell Makro Basic Phosphat is a very important component in our single-nutrient fertilizing system. It adds the essential nutrient phosphate to the aquarium and is also optimally suited for batch fertilization (larger fertilizer quantity given just once), for example after a waterchange. Phosphate is the trigger for waterplant growth and can be added specifically for increasing the growth rates of the plants. A decreased dosage of phosphate will help limiting these growth rates. Aqua Rebell Makro Basic Phosphat can of course be dosed daily, too. Aqua Rebell Makro Basic Phosphat is of utmost importance for healthy plant growth.

The entire Aqua Rebell series, except for GH Boost N, is unfortunately loaded with potassium. Especially for caring for sensitive plants (Ammannia and co.), alternatives would be desirable. Even your iron fertilizers contain additional potassium. 🙄 So for now all that's left is to mix your own… (read more)
I moved away from this fertilizer and switched to ADA products.
It's good and does its job, that much is certain.
After adjusting the dosage, the values are right and the plants are growing and thriving. So I'm very happy with the house brand.
Aqua Rebell Makro Basic Phosphat is a good way to get PO4 into the tank. It's easy to dose, both for small nanos and for tanks > 300l.
In combination with NPK, complete iron fertilizer and N, my plants are growing splendidly. Delivery the very next day. Keep it up, I'm very happy.
Value for money OK... Could be more concentrated, I have to fertilize often to keep my PO4 above 0.3 mg/l... Too expensive in the long run for large tanks since consumption is very high... I have nothing to complain about with the fertilizer itself... It raises the PO4 concentration as stated...

I got this fertilizer because my scape tank always suffers from a PO2 deficiency, and now even the demanding plants that need a lot of phosphate can grow well.
I had to raise the phosphate level in my aquarium and followed the instructions exactly. "Amazingly", that actually worked flawlessly. If only it were always that easy ...
