Description
In a planted tank the micronutrients contained in the tap water or brought into the system with food might not be sufficient, which leads to poor plant growth. Mikro Basic Eisenvolldünger adds the most important micronutrients of iron, manganese, copper, zinc, boron and molybdene. Moreover, it is rich in potassium and magnesium. The nutrients are stabilised in different ways and thus remain available for the plants for a long time.
The tank is supplied with the basic micronutrients either by our Mikro Basic Eisenvolldünger or by Mikro Spezial Flowgrow.
Mikro Basic Eisenvolldünger adds the micronutrients iron, manganese, zinc, boron, copper and molybdenum and the macronutrients potassium and magnesium. This makes a lot of sense especially for a society tank with high numbers of fish as you can be sure that all the necessary nutrients are added. The macronutrients nitrate and phosphate are brought into the tank by the fish stock. In tanks with lesser numbers of fish, they have to be added by further fertilizers, like Makro Basic NPK.
In our Mikro Basic Eisenvolldünger, the nutrients have been stabilised in multiple ways and especially strongly, which keeps them available for plants in the water an especially long time. This complete iron fertilizer thus may be added once a week or daily.
Compared with Mikro Spezial Flowgrow, our Mikro Basic Eisenvolldünger has the advantage of strongly stabilised nutrients by the chelators EDTA, DTPA and HEEDTA. It is thus suitable for daily as well as weekly fertilization and makes adding all the vital nutrients to your tank very easy. Of course, this fertilizer can also be used in tanks with shrimps and other invertebrates. Its very low copper content is stabilised and thus absolutely harmless for the inverts.

I use this for my aquarium alongside NPK and potassium, also from Aqua Rebell. Doing very well with it. For smaller fertilizer amounts, I can warmly recommend the dosing pump that's available as an extra. Otherwise there's the screw-on measuring cup.
Great fertilizer that is also very easy and simple to dose, especially for nano aquariums, together with the dropper attachment.

The iron fertilizer from Aqua Rebell was recommended to me from many sides. I can't say much about the contents yet, but the bottle's cap is a disaster, at least on the bottle I received. I'm currently having very good experiences with this Fe Basic fertilizer. I don't have much to compare it with, since I've only been into the aquarium hobby since July. In addition to the Fe, I also use NPK and individual components depending on the tank. The plants are all doing very well.
I bought the fertilizer three weeks ago as a supplement to the NPK fertilizer. It does its job as expected. In all my tanks, the plants now look noticeably more intense.
Anyone who wants to fertilize individual values is perfectly served with this fertilizer, great value for money.

I've been using this fertilizer for 2 weeks now in combination with the Aqua Rebell Estimative Index. Since then, a clear improvement in plant growth and healthy plants.
I started with half of the recommended dosage at first, just as the Estimative Index method prescribes.

Sorry about the 1-star rating, but: I dose with an automatic doser, according to the instructions and even slightly above (CO2, lots of light). I regularly measure values with a JBL test case, so wet-chemically. Result: Fe not detectable. Plants don't look good. So I kept adding Fe tablets again… (read more)

What I find irritating, though, is that it says iron on the label but there are so many other things in it

It helped excellently against the symptoms of micronutrient deficiency and now everything is growing healthy. I use it as a weekly fertilizer, supplemented with potassium sulfate, magnesium sulfate and carbamide.

With the specified dosage no iron can be detected; I always measured it half an hour after fertilizing.

I use the Aqua Rebell Mikro Basic Eisen in several tanks and am very happy with it. As a test I switched to Mikro Spezial Flowgrow, but now I'm back to Mikro Basic Eisen.
After a few years with Mikro spezial Flowgrow, I switched to Aqua Rebell Mikro Basic Eisen. I'm very happy with the fertilizer. Now I also reliably get detectable iron values, and I was able to reduce the dosage significantly.
The best fertilizer ever!!! My plants thank me with strong colors and good growth. Highly recommended. Keep it up, Aquasabi!!!
To be precise, Potassium is 0.06mg/l... not 1mg/l.
I use this combined with the Makro Basic NPK to follow the protocol PPS PRO, I use it for only 2 weeks but the plants grow very well without any algae.

I've been using this fertilizer for approx. 1 year. The plants have strong shoots and healthy colors. And I use the water from the water change to water my flowers, they thrive with it too 😉
Very good fertilizer, easy to understand. Personally, I dose 2 ml into my 60x30x30 tank, every 2nd day. On every other day the NPK from the same manufacturer. On Sunday a 20 l water change. No algae and super plant growth!

Previously I had slight cloudiness problems with ProFito. They're history after switching to this fertilizer. I don't want to say that ProFito is a bad fertilizer, but maybe something in my tank didn't agree with it and led to precipitation.

I've tried many complete iron fertilizers. This one really seems to be well chelated. At least it was always the last one to turn “rust brown”. And the plants are demonstrably doing better with this fertilizer in a weekly shock dose at the partial water change.
Since I started using the Aqua Rebell fertilizers (whether Eisen Basic, Flowgrow, Phosphat, Sepz. N etc.) in combination with the exact list of ingredients and the nutrient calculator, plant growth works in all my tanks.

Since nitrate and phosphate are present in sufficient amounts in my community tank, this fertilizer is the ideal supplement for comprehensive fertilization.
As the main fertilizer for supplying iron and trace elements, this fertilizer is indispensable for me. It's used regularly every week at the water change to replenish the iron concentration. For the daily supply I use the Flowgrow-Special.

Delivery was very fast, I can't say much about the fertilizer yet. I'd rather wait and see what the algae and the plants have to say about it in the long run.
Easy to use
The leaves of my plants got very nice and big and also quite green, but not quite as much as with Easy Life Fero. On the other hand, this fertilizer is apparently very well stabilized. There's no "fog" in the tank, and the fertilizer doesn't oxidize into brown mush in the bottle.

Really seems to be a good fertilizer, since switching to it I actually only notice positive things. Whether it's due to that alone is another question, since other problem areas were optimized as well, but at least after half a year of use I can't report anything negative.

Torn, because I had hoped that adding fertilizer daily would not only make the plants grow better (which is the case), but also make the black beard algae disappear, which unfortunately is not the case.
... I only use it in small amounts to supplement Profito. A short time after my first applications the plants showed stronger colors.
My No. 1 fertilizer supplement to Profito, to be able to give the plants enough micros as well.
It seems to me that the iron in this fertilizer is chelated much more stably than in others. At any rate, the iron content in my water was clearly detectable even a day later. I'm very happy with this fertilizer and so are my Glossostigma. Can only recommend.
I'm very happy with the all-in-one iron fertilizer. It just took a while until I figured out the right dosage. I use it together with the NPK fertilizer. Everything grows much faster and more magnificently. I'll stick with this fertilizer.
